Since its establishment in 1919, The Delaware State Fair has has been a stalwart promoter of Delaware's culture, agriculture, education, and community involvement, offering quality entertainment in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
Spanning 10 consecutive days, the Delaware State Fair holds the distinction of being the longest-running fair in Delmarva and the largest in the region. The primary objective is to gather people from all walks of life at the fairgrounds for an annual summer celebration, while also hosting engaging events throughout the off-season.
To achieve this mission, the Fair relies on its dedicated Board members and the invaluable support of hundreds of volunteers from community organizations, civic clubs, and individual contributors. Their collective effort ensures that the Fair continues to thrive and fulfill its commitment to the community year after year.

Monday, July 22th:
FOOD LION HUNGER RELIEF DAY & SENIORS' DAY
Sponsored by Food Lion, this event offers free admission to those who bring five (5) non-perishable Food Lion brand items.
Additionally, admission will be free for those over 60 years old for Seniors' Day
Tuesday, July 23th: KIDS' DAY
Brought to you by the Office of the Delaware State Treasurer, bring your kids to the fair and enjoy free admission for those under 12 years old!
Wednesday, July 24th: ARMED FORCES DAY
Sponsored by Pratt Insurance, any active duty and retired military personnel who present a valid military ID get in free.
Thursday, July 25th: GOVERNORS’ DAY & SENIORS' DAY (the second of two)
Sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield Delaware; enjoy a night of harness racing and mingling with the governor!
Additionally, it's the second Seniors' Day. Admission will be free for those over 60 years old.
Friday, July 22th: COASTAL BATH DAY
